Families interested in applying to become a partner family and obtaining a home through Habitat for Humanity are required to submit an application. Applications are available by clicking the link below. Once the application is received it will be reviewed and you will be contacted. If you need an application mailed to you please call us and leave us a message spelling your name and providing your email or mailing address. 

DeKalb County Habitat for Humanity follows income guidelines set for DeKalb County, with an income range different for each family size.

Some eligibility requirements are:

• Must be a resident of DeKalb County for at least one year prior to the beginning of the home build
• Must have a minimum income of $25,000 (or more depending on family size)
• Must be willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County (this includes working 8 hours every Saturday for 4 to 6 months during the time your home is being built)
• Must be currently living in substandard housing
• Must attend an orientation session to receive further information and receive an application
